Volvo 340 1.4 and 1.7 Auto Propshaft
I purchased this in error a while back after spinning the prop on my F7p 1.8 16v to find out that the spline fitments are slightly different.
As you can see, this is a one piece thing (looks like it would actually fit snugger/stronger if you can make it work) , Manual props have protruding splines from the rubber and are then tightened to the output shafts of gearbox and bell housing with an Alan bolt. I think people have made these work on their Valver conversion, but you’ll have to delve deep into the the volvo 300 mania forums and pages to find the answers to this. If iremember correctly, it was possible, but way beyond my ability/mechanical skill to deal with… so this has just sat in my garage since!
I also have a full 1.7 gearbox sat in my garden that I’ll happily sell aswell- I believe it came out of a 70k mile 360 so should be good- however this was years ago and it would need a full service now.
