Here I have an entire 3 door Volvo 340 GL from 1985 for sale, it is the special edition version, which was basically adding the extra dials, electric windows and some chrome wheel trims!
It runs and moves, but oh boy is the body rotten – jacking points, sills, wheel arches, windscreen piller, inner wing to bulkhead, front wings and front cross member totally rotten (the last owner did the ‘fill with newspaper and paint it’ thing!). That said if I was to keep more than one this is then my other choices would be this one and the 1988 GLT – I bought them to replace cars I have had in my past!
The extra dials (vacuum (or econometer) and ambiant temperature guage both work – so the temp sender is good, the interior is ok – and I have put the nicer blue bonnet and doors on it from my 1986 car. During my timecollecting the marque I have collated 11 300s and also a huge amount of spareshave been amassed.
