Genuine Volvo S40 / V50 tweeter covers part numbers 8679628 and 8679629.
I’m selling these because both have slight pry marks on them as can be seen in the pictures. An audio shop used a pry tool to remove them and left the marks. That was annoying me as I love my car so I bought new ones from the dealer. Hence these are for sale with the dealer bags the new ones came in.
Other than the pry marks they are in good condition. You may want them if you are retro fitting tweeters to an S40 with the performance sound system or perhaps you want to do some fabrication to mount tweeters into the covers and want to practice using these first or just use them for final.
They come with a free tiny spider that has been there for years.
For information you don’t need a pry tool to remove these. Just get your fingers around the back, dig your thumb between the part and the air vent then pull like hell. The part will pop off and nothing will be damaged, you just need to commit to it. Contrary to what you may have seen online you also don’t need to remove these to take the door card off.
