This auction is for one 2006 VOLVO V50 S40 2.0 diesel 6 speed manual gearbox, sold as not working. It is complete with a clutch bearing and release cylinder. The story of this gearbox is that it is from my son’s Diesel Volvo V70 estate, the gearbox failed when we found that the car would not pull away on a hill in low gear, the box seemed to lock up. When the clutch was engaged with the engine running the engine would stall even in neutral, but the car could be towed when in neutral gear.The prospective buyer should note that this unit will require repair before fitting into a vehicle, it did not make any excessive noise before failure. Their is no damage to the gearbox casings and no horrible noises when it failed, no bang or grinding.I will pallet this and send it by your appointed and pre paid courier on a half pallet.In short, you may arrange your own courier or collect in person.No refunds on this as it is ‘Not working, for spares’. Best to collect in person, I will give you a hand to load it into the boot of your car.If you need to know more just ask.
