Hello and welcome to the auction of my Volvo 240. My father bought this car back in 1999 from a family friend. I was only 7 years old at the time and remember the journey to collect the car well. We changed the ht leads and serviced her then she served us extremely well up till 2007. This was the year my father very sadly passed away and the car was parked in the corner of the barn where she would be idle for over a decade.
I am looking to sell this car to an enthusiast who will put her back on the road. This is more important to me than money.
It will require a lot of welding and mechanical work. We towed her out of the barn, cleaned the carburettor and points, gave her fresh fuel and a good battery and to my amazement, died into life. The engine sounds very healthy but the exhaust is blowing badly. She is a 4 speed manual model 1984 REG.
I have rust treated then painted the corrosion effected areas to slow the corrosion process down. Viewing is highly recommend. I have the old and new v5 and key. For any more information, call or text me on 07944418111 Paul
